After breakfast, drive down to the coastal resort of Bentota .The trip on the highway is quicker, but the slower Galle road along the coast is more picturesque and passes through the several points of interest. In Bentota avail yourself of the fabulous beach resort and its facilities. Miles of beach, a lagoon for water sports, and a river cruise through the Mangrove swamps. Take a tour of the surroundings. Visit the village Spend romantic moonlight nights by the beach or the lagoon.
After breakfast drive down the coast to Mirissa. On the way visit the turtle hatcheries in Induruwa, stop for a refreshing King coconut in Hikkaduwa and do some sightseeing of the Galle Fort. A quick stop of at Unawatuna beach for lunch, or just cool the heels in the waters of the bay and then off down the coast to Mirissa. Speak to your guide about all the options available. Spend the evening on the gorgeous beaches of Mirissa, and have an early night .Early morning, at first light , do the whale watching safari. After breakfast, leave for Negombo on the coast .The drive down from the central hill country is a great experience for the visitor.
