Haputale

One of the most beautiful locations, in the central hills of the Badulla district, in the Uva province. The town itself,  precariously perched on a mountain ridge is a sight to behold, and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It has a  highly cool atmosphere due to its high elevation of 1400 meters, It is  extremely bio-diverse and has a variety of Fauna, and flora, as well as endemic plant species. Tea plantations carpet the slopes of the hills around, and villages clinging on the hillsides greet the visitor ,and is a  great delight to behold. The vistas are magnificent and awe inspiring!
